(KSL News) After a month of debate, the issues of how to spend taxpayer dollars on transportation went up for another vote.
Members of the Salt Lake County Council of Governments again favored commuter rail over roads by an overwhelming majority.
The vote came after a legislative audit found a math mistake bumped commuter rail up above roads on a priority project list in the first vote by the council.
Council members say their decision is final and is reasonable due to the fact that plans for commuter rail already are rolling forward.
