(KSL News) Sandy police say they have suspects in the murder of a man outside a Village Inn restaurant at South Towne mall.

Earlier this month, witnesses say a guy with a ponytail pulled out a gun and shot Kenneth Dolezsar in the parking lot of the restaurant. The mystery shooter then stole Dolezsar's SUV and dumped it at Lake Hills Memorial Cemetery.

Police are not naming any suspects, but investigators say they have a substantial amount of trace evidence from the crime scene and inside the victim's truck.

Sandy police are waiting for that evidence to come back from the crime lab but they consider their latest leads "very promising."
