PROVO — Police have arrested a man who allegedly attempted robbery of a neighbor's home earlier in the day.

Paisa Matagi, 31, was arrested around 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon at his apartment in Willowbrook Hill Condos at 1600 N. Woodland Drive in Provo.

Around noon on Thursday, Matagi reportedly knocked on a neighbor woman's apartment door, and when she answered, pulled a .9 mm gun from his pants and entered the apartment. After looking around, he left without taking anything and returned to his apartment.

Police and SWAT were dispatched to the apartment complex, which they evacuated. Police and SWAT entered Matagi's apartment, investigated, and arrested him on suspicion of attempted burglary and aggravated assault.
