(KSl News) Trash and recycling pickup service will be a little different in Salt Lake City over the next two days.

All residents who normally have their trash picked up on Thursday or Friday will have service pushed back one day.

That means garbage normally picked up on Thursday will be picked up on Friday and Friday's garbage will be picked up Saturday.

Regular service will resume on Monday.

Although most cities in the valley follow the same schedule, residents from other cities should contact their service provider to inquire about the holiday pickup schedule.
