Top five most impressive wins in week 2

Alta Hawks
While it was a matchup between No. 1 and No. 3 most who follow high school football in the state expected Bingham to continue their recent dominance over Alta. The Hawks believed in themselves and found a way to end a four-game losing streak to the Miners. After struggling to close out Timpview late in the 4th quarter of week one the Hawks kept the Bingham offense off the field in the final three minutes of the game to clinch the victory.

Riverton Silverwolves
Riverton suffered a stunning overtime defeat to Herriman last season thanks to a two-point conversion. This time the roles were reversed as the Silverwolves snuffed out the Mustangs 2-point conversion attempt in overtime to earn a thrilling 1-point victory over their new rivals.

Logan Grizzlies
Logan did not look good in the first week of the season suffering a 41-27 loss to Northridge. The loss also cost them star linebacker Chasen Andersen who suffered a knee injury on the first play and will miss the rest of the year. The Grizzlies battled through a week of adversity and turned in a dominant performance against a team loaded with college prospects. They shutout Cooper Bateman and the Cottonwood Colts 33-0.

Timpanogos Timberwolves
Wins have been hard to come by in recent years for this program but that hasn't been the case this season. The Timberwolves are off to a 2-0 start with wins over 5A competition. They trailed 6-3 on the road against 5A American Fork but dominated the 2nd half scoring 20 unanswered points to pick up a huge road win for the program. A win this Friday against Pleasant Grove would really get our attention.

Millard Eagles
The Eagles went on the road and won the battle of Millard county over Delta. Jesse Rhodes is making a strong case to repeat as 2A MVP after rushing for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns. Millard never trailed in the win.
