PAGE, Ariz. (AP) -- A 15-year-old Nevada boy was killed in a water accident on Lake Powell on Easter Sunday.

The accident happened last night near Warm Creek Bay on the Utah side of Lake Powell.

The Park Service says the boy died when the personal watercraft he was riding collided with another watercraft ridden by someone he knew.

The teen was airlifted to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Officials say the other rider was taken to the hospital for evaluation but was NOT hurt

The boy's name is NOT being released because he's a minor.

This is the first fatal accident this year at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
