(KSL News) A man convicted of starving his girlfriend's daughter is scheduled to be sentenced today.
Michael Bowden was caring for then 5-year-old Jade while her mother served in Iraq. Jade weighed 35 pounds when her mother left, and only 12 pounds four months later.
Bowden's attorneys say he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder from his own service in Iraq and wasn't aware of his actions.
