YOUR TEXTS: "The choice of a deaply religious man (George Washington) to for a day of Thanks Giving, was a request and NOT a dictate of law. If I were alive then I would have had a choice TO OR NOT do what was ask of me. My religiouse RIGHTS were NOT infringed upon. For a political leader to call on GOD is NOT a violation of ANYONE'S RIGHTS because HE has NOT made it a dictate of law for ALL to abide by. WHAT ARE PEOPLE THINKING?!!! Thank you John"

"Did I miss something here? Wasn't one of the reasons we left England and established this great country that we believed in the right of every man and woman to choose their own methods of worship? Allison"

"Why does it have to be done at the state capital? I think it would please everyone if it was taking place where pray belongs at church or home. Holly"
