(KSL News) A small Piper Navajo plane landed at Salt Lake International Airport without its landing gear deployed.
The plane skidded to a stop around 9 a.m. The pilot was not injured.
The plane had damage to the undercarriage.
The runway was closed for two hours, but traffic at the airport was not affected.
The plane is owned by Salmon Air.
Federal authorities are investigating. They do not know why the landing gear malfunctioned.
