MILLVILLE ā A small wildfire has broken out in Millville Canyon near Logan. Early estimates of the size is about 120 acres, according to Logan Fire Department.
LFD has tweeted that there are no structures threatened at this time, but two helicopter and planes have been called in to assist the LFD and forest service crews in battling the blaze. The terrain where the fire is burning is steep and rugged, complicating the supression of the fire.
They also said that the fire was caused by individuals target shooting. Two individuals have been questioned and released pending further investigation, according to the LFD.
It is at zero percent containment, but fire officials expect to have it under control within a day.
