(KSL News) Utah Republican Rep. Chris Cannon is calling for a Congressional investigation into foreign service agents who questioned orders sending them to Iraq.
A State Department directive will force agents to serve at the U.S. Embassy in Iraq. Some diplomats are calling the order a death sentence.
Cannon calls the response a "mutiny." He says Congress should investigate whether the agents can fulfill their mission and perhaps even remove officers unwilling to fulfill their duties.
The directive is the first mandated service in a war zone since Vietnam.
