Greg Neft, KSL Newsradio With November's arrival thoughts turn to holiday shopping, and more people are doing it at work. Is that a good idea?

It's that time of the year: Time to think of the holidays. "Employees are thinking about Christmas lists and Suzy and Johnny," Monica Whalen with the Employer's Council said.

Aah yes, Christmas shopping. More people are doing this online at work, and that's OK, Whalen says. "You can't be too ridged with people. You need to be reasonable," she said.

However, she says don't go crazy. "Most employers provide plenty of time during breaks or meal periods," Whalen said.

So, what are her shopping plans? "I absolutely will do some of that at work," she said, but only on break.
