Greg Neft, KSL Newsradio Utah's governor is making another plea for school vouchers.
Gov. Jon Huntsman is telling people to take a closer look at vouchers. "Get beyond the rhetoric and just look at the numbers," he said.
On KSL's "Let Me Speak to the Governor," he says the impact on public schools would be minimal. "With 97 percent of our kids in public schools, the highest percentage of any state in America, vouchers, at most, will take maybe 2 percent, maybe 3 [percent]," Huntsman said.
Huntsman says he doesn't believe in a one-size-fits-all education. "There's simply no way that you're going to be able to take care of 100 percent of the kids 100 percent of the time," he said.
Vouchers, he says, would help with that.
