No. 1 ranked Snow College had no trouble on the road against the Pima Aztecs, amassing 383 yards on the ground en route to a 58-21 trouncing in Tucson, Ariz. Saturday.

Niu Takai had 18 carries for 163 yards and two touchdowns and Soni Sotele carried the ball 15 times for 162 yards and three touchdowns as the Badgers ran the ball at will.

Snow jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead behind a 20 yard touchdown strike from Houston Erbstoesser to Adam Frandsen and a 12 yard Sotele run. The Badgers never looked back, taking a 38-7 lead into halftime.

Snow put up 518 total yards, allowing only 155. Pima amassed 208 yards in the air but Snow was able to turn the Aztecs 24 carries into a -53 yard output.

"Our run defense just keeps putting up great numbers," said Snow head coach Steve Coburn. "When the opposing team runs for negative 50 yards, that gives us a great chance to win."

Snow finishes its road schedule Saturday, traveling to Scottsdale, Ariz. Kickoff is schedule for 7 p.m.
