Randall Jeppesen, KSL Newsradio Three years of roadwork and long delays through Provo Canyon are about to come to an end.
Jeff Weddle has spent the day in the canyon fishing. He comes here three to four times a week, but one thing he's really happy about is that all the orange barrels will soon be gone. "Through the summer it was frustrating coming up and down the canyon," he said.
For three years the Utah Department of Transportation has been adding additional lanes from the dam down to the Sundance turnoff, and some commuters here still don't believe it is close to being finished.
But UDOT says all the lanes will be fully open come next Tuesday.
