(KSL News) An overnight chase ends with a federal fugitive in custody.
Federal officers spotted 29-year-old Travis Hards in a car near 400 East and 4500 South in Salt Lake County.
They say he tried to run over some of the officers before driving off.
Nearby agencies were called to help in the pursuit.

The chase ended when the man wrecked his car and officers took him into custody.
Detective Don Campbell of the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office says Hards has a long criminal history. "We were looking for him specifically when he ran into us," he said.
Hards was wanted on a federal warrant for violation of supervised release. He also has a previous firearm conviction.
