Randall Jeppesen, KSL NewsradioA Provo family got a scary wake-up call: A car crashed into their backyard.
The backyard of the Sosa home just off University Avenue in north Provo is a big mess. The wooden fence is damaged, bricks are scattered, and there are tire tracks across the yard and patio. The damage happened around 2:15 this morning.

Enrique Sosa says, "Our 10-year-old just screams and yells, ‘Dad, there's a car in the back of our house.'" His son, Tristan, says, "[It] sounded like cannon, like gun fires, really loud."

The driver of the car swerved to avoid hitting a cat. She blew a tire and lost control of the car.
Enrique says, "It was going straight through our bedroom. If the Jacuzzi wasn't there, probably go right in through the bedroom."
The woman was treated and released from the hospital. She is OK.
