(KSL News) The Bountiful teen accused of killing his mother and stuffing her body in a freezer is mounting an insanity defense.
The Deseret Morning News reports Jeremy Hauck's attorney filed notice that his client will claim he's not guilty of killing Laura Hauck in August of last year.
Hauck's lawyer also has received permission to have mental health evaluators determine if Hauck is competent to stand trial and assess his mental condition at the time of the crime.
