(KSL News) Lawyers for the financial portion of the FLDS Church have gone to the courts to find out what former polygamous leader Warren Jeffs has been saying about their client.

The Deseret Morning News reports that attorneys filed a subpoena demanding all communications by Jeffs while he's been at the Purgatory Jail.

It's an effort to get information about how the United Effort Plan Trust, which controls homes, businesses and property in the polygamous towns of Hildale and Colorado City, was managed while in Jeffs' control.

The $100-million trust has since been taken over by the state courts. Several lawsuits have been filed against Jeffs and his management of the trust.
