Governor Appoints Two District Judges

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Two lawyers have been appointed district court judges by Gov. Jon Huntsman.

They are Kevin J. Fife to the 1st District Court and David M. Connors to the 2nd District Court. Both are awaiting confirmation by the state Senate.

Fife currently practices with Olson and Hoggan in Logan. Connors is a partner at Chapman and Cutler in Salt Lake City.

Fife will succeed Judge Gordon Low and Connors will succeed Judge Darwin Hansen.

Fife and Connors each calls his nomination an honor.
