(KSL News) Primary Children's Medical Center welcomed a new arrival today. The hospital is now the proud owner of a newborn ambulance.
The Neonatal Pediatric Transport Unit will allow crews to provide better emergency care for infants. Emergency crews also will be safer because they can now work on a child from the safety of a seatbelt.
The ambulance will be used primarily by the Life Flight team, and Primary Children's expects to use the new ambulance 600 to 700 times a year.
