The Layton Christian Eagles will raise a new banner in their gym after holding off Bryce Valley to capture the Utah 1A state title.

Remington Rawlings led the winning effort with 28 points while Casey Watts added another 10 of his own.

The Mustangs were led by Braxton Syrett who scored 21 points and Jake Pearson who chipped in 16.
