WEST VALLEY CITY — Jordan Loveridge had a game-high 25 points and 19 rebounds as No. 1 West Jordan cruised into the semifinals with a 73-50 win over Bingham.
Loveridge was on fire right from tip off. He hit three times behind the arc in the 1st half and had 18 points by halftime. He also had a steal leading to a dunk which got the West Jordan student body off their feet.
Bingham kept fighting and cut the Jaguars lead to 11 in the 4th quarter but West Jordan would eventually pull away.
The Jaguars shot 52 percent from the field while holding Bingham to 32 percent shooting.
West Jordan will take on No. 3 Lone Peak in a much anticipated matchup in Friday's semifinals.
