(KSL News) A principal's personal goal has become a school-wide fitness challenge.

East High School's principal, Dr. Paul Sagers, has a goal to lose 100 pounds by the end of the school year.

Students and faculty are supporting him by running, walking or swimming 100 miles before the last day of school.

East High students and teachers kicked off the challenge today with a mile run after school.
