Restaurant robbed at gunpoint, police say

OREM — Police are looking for two men who robbed a Mexican restaurant Saturday night.

About 9 p.m., two Hispanic men with handguns entered Mexitalia at 394 S. State and demanded money, Orem Police Sgt. Craig Martinez said.

The employees complied, and the men left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No customers were in the shop during the robbery, and no one was injured, Martinez said.

One of the men was about 6-feet tall and wearing a black hoodie. The other was 6'2'' and wore a white shirt with a blue stripe and a dark baseball cap, police said.

Police have asked anyone with information about the robbery to call 801- 229-7070.
