WEST JORDAN — A 16-year-old boy was critically injured Wednesday when he fell from a moving vehicle in a neighborhood near 9000 South and 4700 West.
West Jordan police say the teen successfully climbed from the cab the moving pickup truck into the vehicle's bed. The driver, however, was watching the stunt and overcorrected when he turned his attention back to the road.
The action threw the 16-year-old from the truck. He landed on his head and was airlifted to the hospital with a severe head injury.
West Jordan police are investigating the incident.
