(KSL News) The Granite School District is trying to ease communication with parents by offering translation services.
District officials say 74 different languages are spoken by students and their families in the district's schools. So this summer, Granite added a translation and interpreting department for parents, students and district staff.
Services are used during school activities such as parent conferences and school meetings.
The department has also set up a Web page providing translated school documents.
