(KSL News) -- A former Lehi elementary school teacher is behind bars on sex abuse charges.
Ben Newby was arrrested Tuesday in Colorado in connection with an incident that took place more than 20 years ago. He has since been released on bail.
One of his former students says Newby abused him at Meadow Elementary School during the 1982, 1983 school year.
He faces up to five years in prison.
