LEHI — A Lehi family safely evacuated their home when it caught on fire Monday morning.
A man awoke to see and smell smoke filling his home near 200 East and 200 North in Lehi. He alerted his daughter and her husband, who also were inside the home. All three, plus their pet dog, got out safely.
Firefighters extinguished the flames around 7:45 a.m. They say it appears insulation got too close to the home's furnace and ignited.
