(KSL News) -- A citizen helped police chase down a hit-and run suspect in Bountiful.
Police say the suspect hit a car near 500 South and 500 East. He then took off. An eyewitness called police and followed in his own car.
With the witness' help police were able to track the suspect and eventually stop him.
The suspect told police he fled because he didn't have insurance. But police believe the drug paraphernalia they found in his car also had something to do with it.
