Evidence from the Warren Jeffs trial is being made public. State court officials put it online today.
There are pages and pages of evidence. There's a journal entry and what looks like a lesson from "polygamist home economics."
Private investigator Sam Brower worked hard on the case for the accuser. He says there's a lot of stuff here, but even more that didn't make it to trial. "There were pieces of evidence, I think, held back that could have painted him [Jeffs] in more of a derogatory light," Brower said.
He says that evidence might wind up in a subsequent Jeffs prosecution, but adds the ultimate goal was a conviction, and there is one.
