Lillard lifts Weber State to fourth straight win

OGDEN, Utah (AP) - Damian Lillard led the way with 22 points as Weber State won its fourth consecutive game and ninth in a row over Sacramento State 74-63 on Saturday.

Scott Bamforth added 19 points and Kyle Tresnak had 18 points for the Wildcats (10-3, 2-0 Big Sky), who outscored the Hornets 32-14 in the paint despite being outrebounded 37-29.

John Dickson scored 20 points, Joe Eberhard had 15 points and seven rebounds and Heath Hoffman added 12 points and seven rebounds for Sacramento State (5-8, 0-2 Big Sky), which dropped its third straight game.

Lillard, who entered the game as the top scorer in the country at 25.4 points per game, had his streak of made free throws snapped at 23 but hit 10 of 11 from the line and had nine rebounds.

The Wildcats are 18-1 all-time against the Hornets in games played in Ogden and lead the series 32-4.
