(KSL News) A newly restored World War II B-17 bomber took to the skies over Salt Lake today.

The Liberty Belle is in town as part of the reunion of the 390th Bomb Group of World War II. It's one of only 14 B-17s still flying today.

World War II Bomber Visits Salt Lake

The plane took 14 years to rebuild and was finished in 2004. It has been flying the skies ever since.
