SPRINGVILLE, Utah (AP) -- The Utah Highway Patrol says a Utah County man and his baby daughter are the victims in a fatal collision on U.S. Highway 89.
UHP has identified the victims as 25-year-old Jeffery Haveron of Springville and his daughter, Makiya, who would have turned 1 next month.
Troopers say Haveron's pickup hydroplaned on the wet road Saturday and spun into the other lane, where it was broadsided by a 3/4-ton pickup near Birdseye in Duchesne County.
An account has been set up to help the family for funeral expenses. You can make a donation at any Zions or Far West Bank in the name of Jeffery or Makiya Haveron.
