PRICE — An autopsy has confirmed a body found in a manhole just outside of Price is that of a missing Price resident.
The medical examiner has identified the body as Christopher Robertson, 38. Robertson was reported missing by his mother on Nov. 29.
Robertson's badly decomposed body was found Monday morning in the sewer system while road crews were making routine checks. The body was found in a manhole on U.S. 6 on the east end of Price, just outside the city limits on the interchange.
It was not immediately known Wednesday whether the Carbon County Sheriff's Office was still investigating the case as a possible homicide or how Robertson ended up in the sewer system.
