This is Lane Beattie of the Salt Lake Chamber with your Metro Business Report.

The National Ability Center is hosting a special event, Saluting Our Heroes, on November 15th. The luncheon will honor the Wounded Warrior Project, veterans, and members of the armed forces, and will recognize how the NAC is providing assistance to our service men and women.

Proceeds from the luncheon support the NAC's ongoing assistance for soldiers as they face challenges created from physical and mental injury in combat. These programs are collaboration between the NAC and government agencies and other non-profits.

The NAC enables injured service members to heal their minds, bodies and spirits through a combination of required military processing events and recreational activities.

To reserve a table or learn about sponsorship opportunities, please contact the National Ability Center at 435.200.0985. --- And don't forget to join us tomorrow for the 35th Annual Salt Lake Chamber Women's Business Center American Express Women & Business Conference and Wells Fargo Athena Award luncheon. The Salt Lake Chamber has named Beverley Taylor Sorenson as the 2011 Athena award recipient. You can register at slchamber.com
