Paul Nelson, KSL Newsradio It may just be poetic justice for the victim of several vandalism attacks in Cedar City.
The windows of Studio West Photography kept getting shot out by someone with a slingshot or wrist rocket. "Getting a call at 5:30 in the morning five times, and coming down to my business and seeing that shot up, I mean, I knew it was personal," owner Karl Hugh said.
Hugh says he just got sick of it, so he staked out his shop. Sure enough the vandal came back, twice. "By that time the police were in their cars, they were on their way. He pulled around the corner and four police cars apprehended him," Hugh explained.
The suspect who was caught in the act was Cedar City's Kurtis Leany, who happens to own a competing studio.
