(KSL News) -- Clearfield City has a new mayor. City Councilman Don Woods will take his oath of office tonight.
He has served as the acting mayor since former Mayor Dan Phelps resigned from the post a month ago.
He has served as a member of the City Council since 2004 and has lived in Clearfield for nearly two decades.
One of his first tasks as mayor will be starting the process to find his replacement for city council.
