(KSL News) A Sanpete County sheriff's deputy is now in trouble with the law himself after using drugs he took from an evidence room.
John Stevens is on a Central Utah drug task force. He was arrested Wednesday after admitting to using cocaine and methamphetamine stolen from the Millard County evidence room.
Stevens was booked into the Utah County jail on drug charges and evidence tampering. He's since posted bail and has been placed on administrative leave.
