(KSL News) A wildfire is burning in southern Utah near the Washington County communities of Brookside and Central. It's about 20 miles north of St. George.
The fire started Monday from a lightning strike and has burned about 450 acres of pinion, juniper, brush and grass.
There are some homes in the area, but more than 50 firefighters are working to keep the flames away.
