(KSL News) Washington County detectives seized a large marijuana crop in the hills west of New Harmony.
They located 1,000 marijuana plants, worth between $3 million and $5 million. A hunter spotted the plants and called police.
It took a UHP helicopter to airlift the plants out. Police are now cataloging the evidence.
Police say the plants were 12 to 15 feet tall and were part of a marijuana cultivation site.
No arrests have been made.
