(KSL News) Prosecutors have cleared a Salt Lake City police officer of any wrong-doing in a fatal shooting two months ago.
The officer was responding to a report of an attempted carjacking when he found the suspect, Steven Sickler, holding a hostage at gunpoint.

After failed attempts to get Sickler to drop the gun, the officer shot Sickler in the head with his assault rifle.
Investigators have ruled the shooting lawful.
