(KSL News) Boating restrictions aimed at preventing a spread of zebra mussels are still in place as the boating season winds down.
The National Park Service says the restrictions requiring boats to be properly cleaned or decontaminated before launching seem to be working. New test results show the invasive zebra mussels aren't in Powel's water.
Zebra mussels reproduce quickly and they can deeply harm the fish population if they infect a body of water.
