Andrew Adams, KSL NewsradioA man and a woman are in trouble with the law over a deal to kill the woman's husband.
Both 23-year-old Ashley Arellano-Lopez and 22-year-old Benito Israel Chacon are in the Salt Lake County Jail.
Police aren't commenting on the case yet, but a probable cause statement reveals Arellano-Lopez arranged the contract, and "an overt act to complete this contract was attempted on the victim's life in his home."
It happened August 29.
It's not clear exactly what the overt act was.
Bail is set for Arellano-Lopez and Chacon at $500,000 each.
