(KSL News) Aviator Steve Fossett is missing. He has been since Monday, when he took off in Nevada.

The winds were treacherous and could have forced him down, or he could've crashed.

British billionaire Richard Branson who has financed many of Fossett's trips says if anyone could glide his plane down safely, it would be Fossett.

The 84th Radar Evaluation Squadron at Hill Air Force Base is analyzing raw radar data to help rescuers locate potential crash sites.
