GRAND CANYON, Ariz. — An adult and two children were killed in a mobile home fire that police believe may be a possible murder-suicide.

Rangers reported the fire at about 7:20 a.m. Monday, when they noticed a smoke-filled cab of an RV parked near the south entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park. According to park spokeswoman Shannan Marcak, the vehicle was severely burned before fire fighters were able to completely extinguish the flames.

Three bodies were found inside; however, authorities have yet to confirm an identify for any of them.

Marcak said a preliminary investigation suggests the possibility of a murder-suicide, and does not suggest the involvement of an unknown party.
