OREM, Utah (AP) -- Forty-five stores flooded with as much as 4 inches of water were closed Monday after a pipe ruptured at University Mall.
The rest of the 200-store mall was open, a day after the water-main break. "It was shooting clear up through the floor," manager Rob Kallas said.
"We're just in a cleanup mode," he said. "We hope to have most of them open Tuesday."
The flood was reported by a mall employee about 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The mall is not open on Sunday.
