(KSL News) Ogden schools received a large federal grant to improve emergency readiness and response plans.
The $239,000 grant comes from the U.S. Department of Education and will aid in the creation of emergency kits, crisis training for teachers and staff, and the formation of an infectious disease plan in case of a pandemic.
Similar grants have been given to 91 school districts across the nation over the past four years.
