LOS ANGELES, Mar 1, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- "Friends" star Courteney Cox is headed back to TV, starring in the pilot "Dirt" for the FX cable network.
Cox and her husband, David Arquette, are executive producers of the project along with creator Matthew Carnahan, Daily Variety reported Wednesday.
In the pilot, Cox will portray the top editor of two celebrity tabloid magazines.
Cox has been busy with big screen projects and recently wrapped up "Zoom," with Tim Allen, Variety said.
