NEW YORK, Feb 28, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Former "Sex and the City" star Kristin Davis says she has signed on to appear in the West End theater production of "The Exonerated."
Davis, who will be seen next month on the big screen in "The Shaggy Dog," told reporters in New York she will appear in Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen's American prison drama, "The Exonerated," this spring.
"I love theater," Davis said. "I have another play here I might do this summer. I don't have my dates (for 'The Exonerated') because they revolve casts, but it is opening this week... and I think it runs until June, so some time between now and then I'll be there."
Davis isn't the only "Sex and the City" actress to find work in theater.
Cynthia Nixon is currently earning raves for her portrayal of a grieving mother in the Broadway drama, "Rabbit Hole."
"It's beautiful, isn't it? Isn't she great?" Davis said of Nixon and her play.
Politely declining to give details about the play she is hoping to do Off-Broadway this summer, Davis would only say it is a new work "very different" from "Rabbit Hole."
